Shillong, March 28: In connection with Khliehriat Women Police Station Case No. 09(03)2021, it is hereby, informed that after the case was transferred to Crime Branch Police Station, East Khasi Hills, the investigation of the case is being conducted by officers of the Crime Branch Police Station, who are being assisted by the Crime Scene Unit and East Jaintia Hills Police.
In the past few days, the team has been conducting thorough investigation which has culminated in the arrest of one person who is the prime accused of this case.
The investigating team is conducting further investigation to ascertain the facts and circumstances of the case and to establish whether any other persons are also involved in this case.
