Announcing this year’s programme, festival producer Rockski EMG credited the Government of Meghalaya’s vision and sustained support foe establishing what the organisers describe as India’s No.1 music festival, and one of Meghalaya’s most powerful tourism brands.
The festival’s rise presents tremendous achievement for the state. By recognising the potential of music and culture to drive tourism, the Government of Meghalaya has helped create a platform that brings global artists to Shillong, attracts visitors from across India and beyond, and places Meghalaya firmly in the international festival conversation.
This Commitment has given Meghalaya a distinctive identity as a destination where world-class entertainment meets local culture and hospitality. Cheery Blossom’s recognition with the Music Festival of the year honour at EEMAX Global in 2025 marks an important milestone in that journey.
