Shillong, March 10: The Meghalaya BJP strongly condemns the incident of mob lynching at Syntung, Mawkynrew on the 8th of March, 2020.
The party urges the people to refrain from such superstitious beliefs which only end up in the loss of precious lives.
It wishes to express its deepest condolences to the bereaved family of Late Macmillan Kharshandi. It also wishes the injured a speedy recovery.
The party urges the Government of Meghalaya to take stern action against the culprits. It also urges the government to provide compensation to the family of the deceased and financial assistance to the injured.
