Shillong, March 28: Meghalaya Chief Minister Mr Cornad K Sangma today along with the official from the Health department has visited different location which will be setup as “Corona Isolation Canters” for the Garo Hills region.
The Chief Minister said that there will be around 300 beds that will be put up in different Corona Isolation centre in Tura, the inspection of thus Corona Isolation centre was done in the present of the “Corona Virus Task Force”.
The Chief Minister held meeting with the official of Tura Civil Hospital, where two testing centre was setup and the full-fledged testing centre will be in place in the next few days, said Mr Cornad.
In the meeting the doctors express their challenges that they are facing and from the government have assured all the necessary equipment and machinery will be provided to them and supply of medicine.
The Chief Minister also held meeting with the District Administration and disuses that supply of essential commodities are there that will reached to all section of society, this was discussed in the meeting.
Chief Minister assured to all people of Garo Hills that they need panic; the government will ensure that all essential commodities will be there. At the same time the Chief Minister appeal to all the citizens to follow the instruction in this lockdown period to ensure that this can be control.
