Shillong, Dec 17: The Ex-Servicemen Rally 2024 was held on 17th December, 2024 at the Gaje Ghale Ground, 58 GTC, Happy Valley, Shillong. The event was graced by Shri C.H Vijayashankar, Governor of Meghalaya as Chief Guest.
Air Marshal I. S Walia, AVSM, VM, Senior Air Staff Officer, EAC, Lt Gen Sanjay Malik, GOC 101 Area, Brig Neelesh Anand Pagulwar, SC, SM, VSM, Commandant, ARC and Station Commander, HQ 101 Area, and Brig Joe Sabby, Commandant 58 GTC, were present on this occasion.
The Governor commended the dedication and sacrifices of the ex-servicemen who have served as steadfast guardians of the nation’s safety and honor. Their unwavering readiness to lay down their lives to protect the country’s freedom and sovereignty commands the deepest gratitude and respect from every citizen.
