Shillong, July 12: The Meghalaya Governor today issued notification that the election of the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council will be held tomorrow at the Council Hall at 11.00 Am in the morning.
In the notification that was issued today mention that the election of the CEM of the KHADC that was fix for today could not be held since the chairman of the KHADC resign as the Chairman of the KHADC.
In separate notification Meghalaya Governor appointed Smti Telinia Thangkhiew as the preterm chairperson of the KHADC till the house elected it new chairman. Smti Thangkhiew will preside over the election of the CEM in the KHADC tomorrow.
