Shillong, Oct 23: In continuation of this Department’ order No.H.140/2020/4 dt.2.6.2020, the following paragraph is included in the “Exceptions to manage essential services and to allow movement of skilled and technical manpower and professionals” after Sl. No. 6 as issued vide Addendum No.Health.l40/2020/19 dt.12.10.2020:
The Government of Meghalaya has permitted “7.Technicians & Scientists hailing from Assam & other North Eastern States and who are working in the North Eastern Space Applications Centre, Umiam are allowed to commute every day from Guwahati to North Eastern Space Applications Centre, Umiam (NESAC).
They are allowed with their personal vehicle and to be tested once in every 10 days. It will be ensured that their movement will be restricted from place of stay to their work place only”.
