Shillong, August 31: The Review meeting held today under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister is the identification of proper palace for accommodating on the street hawkers in and around Shillong City the urban Affair department has made a presentation and they have identified few palace including Polo Parking Lot which to be converted into vending zone.
This palaces will accommodate thus register vendors or hawkers who register themselves though appropriate authority, one is through the vending committee headed by the CEO Shillong Municpal Board and the others is head by the Deputy Commissioner. Today will start accommodating these register hawkers identified by the DC and the Urban affair Department.
