Guwahati, January 13: Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, leading Indian cement major and subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Limited (DBL), marked its 11th anniversary of successful leadership in the North East today.
Since its inception, Dalmia Cement has emerged as a market leader in the North East, playing a pivotal role in driving regional development. With two cement manufacturing and two cement grinding units, it has the region’s highest cement manufacturing capacity at 5.6 MnT.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, Dalmia Cement conducted its annual ‘Young Achievers Award,’ where six young talents from across the Northeast were honoured. The awards were presented by Shri Padmanav Chakravarty, Regional Manufacturing Head, North East and other key officials.
The recipients were chosen based on their outstanding achievements in various fields such as sports, film, music, science, innovation business and enterprise, on the field of innovation was given to Prakash Sutradhar from Assam, Archery was given to Mr. Tutumoni Boro Assam.
On the Films ws given to Mr. Dominic Sangma from Meghalaya , Volleyball was given to Mr. Prathana Gogoi Assam, Singer was given to Taba Chake Arunachal Pradesh and Athlete given to Mr. Medhi Hassan from Assam.
