Shillong, June 24: All India Trinamool Congress Meghalaya Unit Vice President and Rangsakona legislator Mr. Zenith M Sangma on Thursday distributed flood relief materials in the form of food grain to around 900 families in 11 villages under Rangsakona Constituency.
During the distribution he was accompanied by the youths of Meghalaya Trinamool Congress Mr. Fernandez S Dkhar , the food items that was distributed by the Vice President of the AITC are Rice and Dal to the families.
The Garo Hills region of Meghalaya has been severely hit by unprecedented floods and landslides. Numerous incidents of landslides have been reported from the Garo Hills region of Meghalaya.
