Shillong, Jan 24: To observe the National Girl Child Day, the NSS Cell NEHU, Dean Student Welfare NEHU and NSS Unit Shillong College today oragnised a felicitation programme for girl achievers at Marbisu, East Khasi Hills, the adopted village of the NSS Unit, Shillong Law College.
During the programme, girl students were felicitated for their achievements in the field of arts to Ms. Lalrinmawii Janai Lating, in the field of sports to Ms. Saphira Sun, Ms. Ibanylla Kurbah, Ms. Neha Sun, Ms. Anju Lulin, Ms. Wanrikynti Kurbah and Ms. Nishanri Warkhyllew and in the field of social work to Ms. Itaris Kurbah.
The programme was attended by Shri S. Laloo, Chairman, Synjuk ki Rangbah Shnong, Shri Starsing Kurbah, Sordar Hima Marbisu, Mr. F. Rumnong, State NSS Officer, Government of Meghalaya, Dr. R. Nongkhlaw, DSW, NEHU, Dr. D. Nongkynrih, Programme Coordinator, NSS Cell NEHU, Ms. D. Mawlong, Programme Officer, Shillong Law College among others.
