Maligaon, Oct 27: N. F. Railway willbe observing the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ from 28th October to 03rd November, 2024, throughout all its Divisions, Workshops and Construction field units. The theme that will lead this awareness week of 2024 will be based on“Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”.
The oath will be administered by ShriChetan Kumar Shrivastava, General Manager, Northeast Frontier Railway and ShriArun Kumar Chaudhary, General Manager, N.F. Railway (Construction) at the premises of GM’s office, Maligaon and GM (CON)’s office, Maligaon respectively.
All the DRMs in their respective Divisions alongwiththe employees of entire N.F. Railway familywill observe the week. The motto of this pledge is to bring about integrity and transparency in all spheres of activities thus eradicating corruption in every aspect of life including the working environment.
During the week-long Vigilance Awareness Week various programmes will be conducted throughout N. F. Railway to create awareness among the railway employees and general public.
As a part of the observance of the awareness week, various interactive sessions with all departmental officers of N. F. Railway Headquarters and divisions will be organised for systemic improvements.
“Sangosthi” on the topic- “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity” will be organised by participation of higher officials of N. F. Railway(Open Line and Construction Organisation).
Essay writing,drawing and painting competition will be organised at Railway Higher Secondary, NetajiVidyapeeth Higher Secondary, K.V MaligaonSchoolsand Zonal Railway Training Institute, Alipurduar amongst the school students.An inter college debate on the theme– “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”will be organised on 30thOctober, 2024 at Pragjyotish College, Guwahati.
Street Play by railway employees and members of Bharat Scouts and Guides will be organised to spread awareness to sensitize citizens on the ill-effects of corruption. A vigilance bulletin will be released and a Walkathon will also be organised during this observancefor spreading awareness.
