Shillong, July 30: The Superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills District in form that on the 2nd /August/2024 there will be no entry from Lum Jingshai towards J N Stadium and also from Lumjingshai towards Forest Colony in view of the opening ceremony of the Durand Cup, 2024 on 2md August, 2024 at J. N. Stadium Complex.
The following traffic regulation will be imposed on 2nd August, 2024 from 1:00 PM to till the function is over, places of No Entry from Lumjingshai junction towards CRPF junction and no from Lumjingshai junction towards Forest Colony, the diversion route Vehicles to be diverted towards Lawmali , Polo Market left turn and beyond.
Additional traffic enforcement and advisory, all are requested not to park their vehicles around the Polo agglomeration on 2ud August, 2024 from 11:00 AM till the event is over. Vehicle will not be allowed to park on the roadside from Golf Club upto CRPF junction.
Therefore, general public are urged not to park their vehicles at the above-mentioned stetch. Plying of loaded heavy vehicles around the Polo agglomeration shall be strictly prohibited on 2nd August, 2024.
The General public is advised to use a carpool or shared taxi instead of their private vehicles for proceeding towards the above mentioned programme. Vehicles with pass and Emergency Serviee will be facilitated.
