Maligaon, August 23: Pension Adalat was held at N.F. Railway headquarter on August 23, 2019 as a part of nationwide Pension Adalat Programme for on-the-spot settlement of Pensioners and Family pensioners of N.F. Railway.
The Adalats were also held at five divisions of N.F. Railway viz. Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding, Tinsukia and two Workshops at New Bongaigaon and Dibrugarh of N.F. Railway.
Member of N.F. Railway Pensioners Association, representatives from banks and members of recognised unions took active part in the Adalats where a total of 195 items were discussed for settlement.
Most of the items tabled during the Adalats were amicably settled as a result of fruitful discussion between Railway Administration and Pensioners.
