Shillong, Nov 12: The Director of Health and Family Welfare Department Dr Aman War today inform that the total number of persons tested COVID-19 positive today are 144, Ri Bhoi 54, East Khasi Hills 38, West Khasi Hills 22, East Garo Hills 10, West Garo Hills 8, West Jaintia Hills 6, East Jaintia Hills 3, South Garo Hills 2, South West Garo Hills 1, total active cases in the state are 1045.
The Director also informed that the number of people who recovered today are 56, West Jaitnia Hills 27, East Khasi Hills 19, West Garo Hills 4, North Garo hills 3, East GaroHills 1, East Jaintia Hills 1, Ri Bhoi 1, the toal numbers of persons who have recovered are 9368.
The Director also informed that people who die today from COVID-19 are four, two in West Garo Hills, one in East Khasi Hills and one in Ri Bhoi District, the total number of people who die in the state of Meghalaya has rise up to the total of 98 persons till today.
The Director informed that persons who died today due to COVID-19 are Late Jogendar Sharma 82 years, Late Hemarson Marak 54 years both are from West Garo Hills, late Nowin Karthak Lepcha 58 years from Ketting Road Shillong and late Balajied Kharshing 41 years from Umsning Ri Bhoi District.
