Shillong, June 15: The Chief Executive Member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council Mr Titosstarwell Chyne along with the Executive Member incharge Trade Mr Rangkynsai Kharbuki calls for the review meeting with the officers of the Trade Department.
Speaking to media person after the meeting Mr Chyne said that there will be no problems for renewal of Trading License if all the required documents are in place, but if traders fail to provide required documents the KHADC has the authority to reject or cancel the Trading License.
On fresh application of Trading License the CEM of the KHADC said that they will see what type of trade they have applied for, if they found that the trade that they have apply cannot be carried out by the local people the KHADC will consider the application but if the trade can be done by the local people the KHADC will not issued.
In the meeting he has directed all the officers who are in the Trade Department to see that traders has to comply according to the trade license issued to them, they cannot change the trade or the place of business and the location of the business also.
