Shillong, Jylliew 29: The Shillong Lajong returned back to winning ways after defeating Nangkiew Irat by a 3-2 margin today in the U-18 Shillong Premier League at the MFA Ground.
The first goal was scored by Nangkiew Irat in the 10th minute after Mebanjop Warjri found the back of the net. Lajong Junior Reds leveled the score in the 41st minute. Kitboklang Khyriem was the goal scorer.
The second goal was as a result of an own goal by Rapborlang Kharmawphlang of Nangkiew Irat which gave Lajong Junior Reds the lead in the game in the 46th minute.
Shillong Lajong boys kept on attacking forward and got their third goal of the game coutesy of Badonlang Rapsang in the 61st minute.
Hiamdorlang Mairom scored Nangkiew Irat’s second goal in the 83rd minute. Shillong Lajong will play their next match on 2nd of July against Sawmer SC at 3:45PM.
