Shillong, June 11: The Shillong Lajong defeated Sawmer Sports Club by 2-1 in their first game of the U-18 Shillong Premier League on Monday at the MFA Ground in Polo.
Badonlang Rapsang scored the opening goal for Lajong in the 9th minute while Freestar Kharbyngar netted the second goal in the 27th minute of the match. J. Tham scored the only goal for Sawmer SC in the 89th minute.
Lajong Junior Reds will be up against Rangdajied United in their second game of the U-18 SPL on 16th June at the MFA Ground at 3:30PM.
The Shillong Lajong FC U-18 Shillong Premier League 2018 Squad comprises of young boys from the U-15 team and a few were selected from the existing U-18 team.
