Shillong, Oct 09: The Superintendent of Police (Traffic), East Khasi Hills, Shillong, has informed that in order to decongest the Keating Road area, Shillong Traffic Police is coming out with the following proposals:
The taxi stand of Jhalupara and Bishnapur opposite Yog Maya will now be shifted to near Keating Road Community Hall opposite Goenka Workshop.
The route from Bamboo Hut towards Kali Mandir, Keating Road will now be made No-Entry, vehicles will proceed in reverse order i.e. the vehicles will now proceed from Kali Mandir towards Bamboo Hut.
The route from Khan Tyre Shop, Keating Road towards MESEB Office will now be made No-Entry. Vehicles will proceed in reverse order i.e. the vehicles will now proceed from MESEB office towards Khan Tyre Shop, Keating Road.
The route from City Panda near SP’s Office, Shillong towards Saigal Shop, Keating Road will now be made No-Entry. Vehicles will now proceed in reverse order i.e. vehicles will now proceed from Saigal Shop towards City Panda.
The route from Saigal Shop, Keating Road towards Holiday Home, Civil Hospital will now be made No Entry. Vehicles will now proceed in reverse order i.e. vehicles will now proceed from Holiday Home, Civil Hospital towards Saigal Shop, Keating Road.
