Shillong, November 23: Smt. Mariamma Thomas has taken charge as the new Chief Postmaster General, North East Postal Circle. North East Postal Circle comprises 4478 Post Offices spread across Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland with Headquarter at Shillong.
Smt. Mariamma Thomas is a 1994 Batch Officer of the Indian Postal Service and brings with her a wealth of experience from her previous assignments in Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Goa.
