Shillong, Sept 27: Indian Armed Forces have always brought laurels to the Nation. Their contribution in War & Peace is of immense value to every Indian National. Indian Army conducted Surgical Strike in 2016 which had strategic ramifications and were aimed to dissuade our inimical adversary from adopting the path of violence and to ensure an environment of peace in the South Asian Region.
To showcase the courage, valour and sacrifice of the Armed Forces, ‘Parakram Parv’ is being observed from 28-30 September 2018 in the entire country. The main event in Shillong is being planned at Station Workshop Shillong on the Cheerapunji Road and shall be showcasing the events highlighting valour of Indian Armed Forces.
The programme will start at 11AM on Saturday, 29 September 2018. The event will remain open from 11AM to 4PM. Visitors will get the opportunity to see Military Equipment and witness the Military Band performance at the venue.
