Shillong, Sept 24: The BJP state President mr. Ernest Mawrie condemns the recent West Shillong incident, the incidents in West Shillong constituency Mawrie cited that it had created widespread panic among the residents. In this regard Mawrie said he will soon meet the CM to strengthen security in critical spots as well as routine patrolling of the streets.
Mr. marwrie thinks there could be political vendetta in order to try and give it a communal colour to the whole episode. The innocent youths are being victimized and the local administration seems to be least bothered by the developments.
The BJP State President will suggest the government to put CCTV in all sensitive areas for better monitoring and security. The BJP will not tolerate any such lapses in social security and that a delegation of West Shillong leaders shall meet the CM and city SP.
They will demand all measures to be taken to restore the security in the constituency as a whole with special focus on vulnerable areas. The BJP 18 west Shillong will personally request all forms of help from the concerned authorities, said Mr. Ernest Mawrie State President of the BJP.
