Shillong, June 02: Clearing all speculations of withdrawal, BJP MLA and lone Minister Sanbor Shullai has cited that BJP will support the government till it completes it’s full term. All grievances raised by the party president shall be addressed by the Chief Minister himself when they meet.
Since the decision of withdrawal has always been the central leadership’s call, further debate on it is not required. He assured full support to the government till it completes it’s tenure and that in coalition partners do raise issues of concern and this is nothing new in politics. It is upto the partners to come forward, address them and instill confidence among the stake holders in the coalition.
Citing full confidence in Conrad Sangma led government Shullai feels that government has been pro active and has addressed all raised issues of concern.
As far as pre and post poll alliance is concern the decision lies with the Central leader and we have to abide by the decision of the central leaders.
He remained confident that the party will improve its tally compared to the last election and potential winning candidates are in discussion for ticket allotments from all over the state.
