Shillong, Nov 28: In continuation with celebration of forthcoming 55th Raising Day of BSF, a volleyball tournament was organized at Dipulipara ground by 55 Bn BSF, Tura on 27th Nov 2019. The final match was played between Dipulipara club and Dimagari club in which Dipulipara clinched the trophy.
The audience from nearby villages witnessed the match followed by tea and snacks arranged by BSF. In the end, prizes were distributed to winner and runner up teams by second-in- command , 55 Bn BSF who appreciated skills and sportsman spirit of players.
Apart from it a medical camp was also organized by 55 Bn BSF at PHC Shibbari on 28th Nov 2019. The camp was inaugurated by the Commandant 55Bn BSF. The camp was organized in coordination with civil administration, 04 doctors including lady doctor, Pediatrician and 15 paramedical staff from civil administration and 01 doctor along with 07 paramedical staff from BSF provided medical assistance to the locals.
