Shillong, June 3, 2026: The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong has under section 163 BNSS declared a No-Drone Zone w.e.f. 3rd to 5th of June, 2026 with a radius of 3 kilometres from the State Convention Centre, Shillong.
The order has been issued in view of the 73rd Plenary of the North Eastern Council Meeting being held at the State Convention Centre, Shillong from 3rd of June, 2026 where many VVIPs and dignitaries will be attending the said meeting.
The order shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force for a period w.e.f. 3rd to 5th of June, 2026.
