Shillong, Dec 21: In exercise of the powers confers under section sub-section(I) of section 17 of the Meghalaya Residents Safety and Security Act, 2016, the Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to notify the establishment of the facilitation centre Entry point at Umling, Ri Bhoi District to be functional with effect from 21st Dec 2020.
Further the, the facilitation centre shall be under the general direction, control and supervision of the District Task Force, of Ri Bhoi District, as provided under sub section (II) of the section 17 of the aforesaid act, said Secretary to the Goverment of Meghalaya, Home and Political department Mr CVD Diengdoh.
