Shillong, July 24: Today the MoU was sign between Government of Meghalaya and the Bureau of Pharma PSUs of India (BPPI) for implementation of the scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana’ (PMBJP) today at the Main Secretariat Building, Shillong.
The MoU was signed between the Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department, Shri Pravin Bakshi and the CEO, BPPI, Shri Sachin Kumar Singh in presence of Health & Family Welfare Minister, Shri A. L. Hek.
Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Ashadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) is a campaign launched by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India to provide quality medicines at affordable prices to the masses through special kendras known as Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra. The Bureau of Pharma PSUs of India (BPPI) is the implementation agency for PMBJP.
