Shillong, April 13: The Indian Metrological Department Government of India has predicted that heavy rain with thunders storm will occurred in the next five days in some places.
A cyclonic circulation lies over central Assam and neighbourhood and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level. Another cyclonic circulation lies over northeast Assam and neighbourhood at 3.1 km above mean sea level.
Under the influence of these systems, Heavy Rain with Thunderstorm and lightning and gusty wind with wind speed of 30 to 40 Kmph is likely to occur on 17th April 2024, Thunderstorm and lightning and gusty wind with wind speed of 30 to 40 Kmph.
This is likely to occur on 16th April 2024 and Thunderstorm/lightning is likely to occur on 13th , 14th and 15th April 2024 at isolated places over Meghalaya. Available data indicates that light to moderate rain occurred over Meghalaya during the last 24hrs
