Shillong, March 29: The Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress in collaboration with the Mawshynrut Assembly Youth Congress have tried to reach out to the least privileged sections who live from hand to mouth from Nongrynniaw, Thangtngaw, Nongpdeng and Nongdiengkain villages.
Mr Fernandez S Dkhar, the General Secretary MPYC, said they will try their level best to render their service to the people of the State in this most difficult time which the citizens of the state and the country as a whole are facing due to this Covid19 Pandemic.
Mr Dkhar said that yes it is very hard to reach each and every household due to the lack of resources and supply, but their team believes that something which they have done is better than nothing.
He also said that, people in the villages, those who are engaged themselves as daily labourers in plantation farming and cultivation are asking for eatable items such as rice instead of money as their wages.
Therefore he urges the people of the state to be a helping hand to one another in this time of crisis. He also mentioned that if there are people who are willing to donate eatable items such as Rice and Vegetables, the MPYC team are available in each and every Districts and C&RD Blocks of the state.
