Maligaon, June 29: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run one summer special train from Agartala to Bangalore Cant for the benefits of passengers. It has also been decided to extend the services of special trains running between Agartala – Secunderabad and New Jalpaiguri – Udaipur to clear extra rush of passengers.
Among these special trains, Train No. 02524 Agartala – Bangalore Cant summer special will run from 6th July to 24th August, 2021 leaving from Agartala on Tuesday at 06-10 hours to reach Bangalore Cant at 20-15 hours on third day.
In return direction, Train No. 02523 Bangalore Cant – Agartala summer special will run from 9th July to 27th August, 2021 leaving from Bangalore Cant on Friday at 10-15 hours to reach Agartala at 03-00 hours on fourth day.
Services of Train No. 07030/07029 Secunderabad – Agartala – Secunderabad weekly summer special have been extended for two more trips leaving from Secunderabad on 5th and 12th July, 2021 (Monday) and leaving from Agartala on 7th and 16th July, 2021 (Friday).
Services of Train No. 09601/09602 Udaipur – New Jalpaiguri – Udaipur festival special have been extended to run from 26th June to 25th September, 2021 leaving Udaipur on every Saturday and from 28th June to 27th September, 2021 leaving New Jalpaiguri on every Monday as per existing timings, stoppages and composition.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in Railway’s website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey.
It may kindly be noted that, on arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination state. All passengers are requested to co-operate with the railway and respective state govt officials in this regards.
