Shillong, August 23: The North East Football Development Council (NEFDC) is set to convene a key meeting on Monday, 26 August 2024 to address pressing matters concerning the future of football in the North East region.
The meeting will take place at the Shillong Club at 7:30pm. Mr Lainghinglova Hmar, President of NEFDC, who is also the Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare of Mizoram, will chair the meeting.
This pivotal session will bring together key stakeholders, including representatives of regional football associations, to discuss strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing football development programs.
Among the key agenda items are the evaluation of the current development program and development of football in the North East.
