Shillong, July 11: The Superintendent of Police Ri Bhoi District said that during the course of investigation of Umiam P.S case No. 46(06)2024 U/s 120B/506/384/511 IPC R/W Sec 10/13/17/18 UA(P) Act, four accused persons were arrested namely, Cyfrank Paul Pariat,) Kitbok Mujai, Barnabas Lyngdoh and Wanpynshngai Dympep.
During interrogation of accused Shri.Cyfrank Paul Pariat, he revealed that he had undergone training at Bangladesh with one Shri. KynsaijunThabah @ Kynsai-32 years for a period of one month in the month of mid July 2023 till mid August2023 after which they returned back to their respective homes.
On the 5th July 2024, KynsaijunThabah was arrested and during his examination he confessed to being a member of the banned HNLC and that he had undergone training during the above said period together with Cyfrank Pariat.
