Shillong. Feb 18: A week-long festival of Science & Technology – Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate – Festival of Science Communication Popularisation & its Extension-cum-National Science Day 2022 celebration will be organised jointly by the State Council of Science Technology and Environment (SCSTE).
The Meghalaya and Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous body of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India on February 22-28, 2022 at All Saints’ Hall, IGP, Shillong from 10:00 AM onwards and also at Tura Science Centre, West Garo Hills.
The week-long festival will feature Science Book Exhibition, Exhibition of Wheels by ISRO, Science & Technology Exhibitions, open quiz, extempore speech and innovative ideas competitions, display of science and technology posters, screening of science films and lectures on different Science and Technology themes.
The programme will culminate on February, 28, 2022 to mark this year’s National Science Day celebration. Awards will also be conferred on students who scored highest marks in Mathematics and Science & Technology in the SSLC and HSSLC Examination conducted by MBOSE in 2021.
