Shillong, August 22: After winning India’s Got Talent in 2010, the Shillong Chamber Choir has been doing the rounds and they have been making a mark in every stage they have set foot on all over the world.
Alongside the Choir Duties, Neil Nongynrih has been occupied with setting up and running the Shillong Chamber School at Whispering Pines, Pohkseh where kids are taught at a primary level and also trained in Western Classical and Pop Music.
This time, they have taken a few singers from the school with them on the road and are performing at the much celebrated Hindi Soap cum musical TV series Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala that airs on Star Plus and Hotstar from Mondays to Fridays at 8.30 pm.
Addition to the lineup includes ten year old Mangkyrpang Kharshiing, 9 year old Ishaya Lyndem, eight year old Pynwan Lyngdoh and the seven year old soloist, Ariya Lyndem. They have been working on a song entitled Jashn-e-Hindustan which celebrates Independence Day in all its glory this segment will be aired on August 22 on Star Plus at 8:30pm.
