Shillong, July 26: The members of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, Meghalaya Unittoday met the Governor of Meghalaya, Shri Phagu Chauhan at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.
In the meeting, the members placed a memorandum before the Governor seeking his intervention to restore peace and security in the region in light of the recent incident of assault in Mahadev Khola Dham situated near 101 area, Meghalaya on July 24, 2023.
The organization has requested for a comprehensive and unbiased investigation into the matter in order to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
