Shillong, November 22nd: A Charles Pawa sustained injuries after he was hit by a truck while walking on the side of the road at Mookyndur under Thadlaskein Block, West Jaintia Hills on the 22nd of November at 01 P.M. The truck went off the road and down a cliff after hitting the pedestrian. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Mawryngkneng helped in shifting Charles Pawa to Jowai Civil Hospital.
A driver of a Hyundai I10 travelling towards Khliehrait from Guwahati sustained injuries after the vehicle was hit by a truck travelling on the wrong side of the road while it was in the process of overtaking. The incident happened at Puriang under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Mawryngkneng helped in shifting Chelang Lamare to Woodland Hospital, Shillong.
A Shaktiman truck carrying electric poles hit the earth on the side of the road after it developed some technical snag while travelling on a downward slope at Damebriba under Songsak Block, East Garo Hills. The truck was travelling towards Resubelpara from Rongrong when the incident happened. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Resubelpara helped in shifting two laborers Sumanta Rabha and Balnut Marak to Resubelpara CHC.(SP News)
