Shillong, Sept 01: The Director of Meghalaya Health Services Dr. A War informed that 72 people’s were tested COVID-19 positive, out of this 54 are from East Khasi Hills, 2 BSF, 2 Armes Forces and 50 from the public. West Garo Hills 7, East Garo Hills 4, Ri Bhoi 5, South Garo Hills 2.
The total active cases in the state are 1193, in the District wise, East Khasi Hills 842, West Khasi Hills 45, Ri Bhoi 60, West Jaintia Hills 2, East Jaintia Hills 18, West Garo Hills 118, South West Garo Hills 3, South Garo Hills 16, Easy Garo Hills 81 and North Garo Hills 9.
The total number of people who have recovered in the state 1235, persons who recovered today 73, in East Khasi Hills 65, from the public 53,BSF 7, Armes Forces 5, East Garo Hills 3 and West Garo Hills 5 and the total number of death has increased to 12.
