Shillong, June 19: The president of the organization Confederation of Ri Jiantia Movement (CRJM) Mr Wandahun Suciang said that on the 15th June 2018, they intercepted two trucks carry Caws at Amlarem of West Jiantia Hills District at night the members of the organization stop this two trucks and asked them to go to Amlarem Police station.
While they were on the way to the Police station, the SDPO of took them to the police station and they were surprise to see when it comes in the media they were blames us as robbers. The president of the CRJM aksed the SPDO where are the caws that was detected by them.
Speaking to media person at the Shillong Press club today he alleged that if this is the case they assumed that there is connection between the official and the caws smugglers in smuggling caws to Bangladesh, from the organization try their best to stop caws smuggling but they were blames as robbers.
The members of the organization who were taken to the police station Amlarem, along with him include Mr Thermon Susngi, Mr Damet Bang and Mr Pyndap bor. The Prsident of the CRJM said that from the organization asked for papers from the police to file an FIR but they were not given.
Mr Suchiang president of the CRJM said that smuggling of caws to Bangladesh from the Border area is rampant that is why they want to stop this illegal caws smuggling to Bangladesh, they see that these smugglers use the Rymbai Road and Amlarem Road to sent caws to Bangladesh.
