Shillong, March 19:In the interest of ensuring fair conduct of the Lok Sabha Election, 2019 in 1-Shillong (ST) Parliamentary Constituency, it is hereby advised that no advertisements, appeals, songs, audio and visual clippings, flags, signboards, flex, posters, banners and various other forms of publicity should be published, printed, circulated, distributed, telecast, aired, broadcasted, displayed etc.
in connection with the Lok Sabha Election, 2019 in 1-Shillong (ST) Parliamentary Constituency without receiving due Certification from the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee operating in the Office of the Returning Officer, 1-Shillong (ST) Parliamentary Constituency.
Media Houses Print, Electronic, Television, Radio etc. are also advised to exercise caution and refrain from broadcasting any content which may cause undue influence in favour of an intending Candidate or Party or which may inadvertently violate the enforced Model Code of Conduct in 1-Shillong (ST) Parliamentary Constituency.
