Shillong, Dec 03: The Chairman of the state planning board Mr SC Marak has constituted eight working group with the board to supervise on the various department of the government in their implementation of government scheme.
The objective of constituting these working group is to enable the State Planning Board to conduct its meetings with the departments in a more effective manner.
The first working group is chair by the chairman itself and the third working groupis chair by Mr John F Kharshiing, the group is to see the grant-in-aid to the three Autonomous District Councils in Meghalaya and expenditure and Progress of all Rural Development Schemes.
In a press statement the working group III will met on the fifth and six of this month review the latest progress on the above department.(SP News)
