Shillong, Jan 06: The fight for the Congress ticket from Langrin MDC Constituency between the sitting MDC Mr Manstudy Nongrem who is also the former CEM of the KHADC with the president of HNAM Mr Lamphrang Kharbani is very tide.
Speaking to SP News Agency Mr Kharbani who is a social actives said that he is ready to contest the coming MDC election if the Congress Party give him the ticket from Langrin Constieuncy.
The sitting MDC Mr Nongrem still have the support of many party workers and from both the contenders claim that they are getting support from their supporter and this has put the leaders of the Congress party in a fix to whom they will gave the ticket.
The Congress policy is that, it will be very difficult to denied ticket to the sitting MDC, but at the same time the party want a wining candidate, at the same time the MLA from the area is also a congress man.
Sources from the Congress said that they will decide on the ticket that will be base on the majority of the Unit from the Langrin Constituency, if the unit of the party are in favour of the sitting MDC or in they are in favour of the new candidate.(SP News)
