Tura, Sept 11: The Garo Hills State Movement Committee (GHSMC) today has call for the indefinite band in the entire Garo Hills to put pressure on the government that all the thirteen members who were arrested today should be released immediately with out any condition.
The GHSMC let by the former minister Augustine D Marak took this decision to call for the indefinite band in the entire Garo Hills starting from tomorrow. The band will continued as long as thus people who were arrested by the District administration are still in judicial custody.
The GHSMC committee will withdraw the band only when the government authority released them with out any condition. (SP News)
