AAP candidate files nomination in Shillong, Purno and, Vincent to file nomination on Friday

Shillong, march 20: With the General election coming closer, Friday is expected to be the big day in Meghalaya as political big wings like NPP Supremo PA Sangma and Sitting MP from Shillong seat Vincent Pala will file their nomination.

Other include Shibun Lyngdoh of Bharatiya Janata party is also likely to file his nomination paper.  Earlier, supported by Regional Parties United Democratic Parties candidate Paul Lyngdoh filed his nomination two days back.

On Thursday, Aam Admi party candidate Armerington Kharshiing has also filed his nomination at the DC office in Shillong.

Flanked by supporters, Aam admi Party’s candidate Armerington Kharshiing filed his nomination.

Speaking to media, Aam Admi Party candidate Kharshiing expressed full confidence on the people.  Asked although the Party is talking so much about scams and corruption, will the party again going Delhi style will it again seek for Congress help in Forming Govt, to this Kharsiing replied that the AAP formed Government at Delhi taking Congress support from outside but when the Jan Lokpal bill could not be passed in the Assembly it decided to quit.

Speaking about the suffering of North East students during the tenure of Arvin Kejriwal as Chief Minister of Delhi, Kharsiing said “there is a need to break the wall that separates North east people from Rest of India”. (SP News)
