Shillong, July 26: The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills, Shillong has informed that as per the instruction issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India (Arms Section) New Delhi, all Arms License holders within East Khasi Hills District are directed not to carry their arms to a fair, religious procession and other public assemblage or open display of arms and ammunition in public places. Failure to comply with the directive will be dealt with seriously.
