BSF tell BGB that GNLA, HNLC, ULFA, NDFB, are in Bangladesh soil

Shillong, November 10: In the Co-Ordination meeting held recently in Bangladesh between the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) was held at Sylhet. The Indian delegation was let by Sudesh Kumar IG BSF in charge of Meghalaya frontiers told the Bangladesh counterpart  Brigadier General  Abu Sayeed Khan that militant from north east are taking shelter in Bangladesh soil.

From the Indian side they have pointed out that the band outfit from the north East, like the HNLC, GNLA, ULFA, NDFB and the NLFT are taking shelter in Bangladesh. IG BSF clearly mentions that they carried out anti-Indian activities from the Bangladesh soil.

The BSF in this meeting has taken up the issue of Bangladeshi infiltrator to the Indian Soil, others issued that are discussed in the Co-Ordination Committee are the common problems faces by both the country like trans-border crime  committed at the border areas and others unlawful activities.

In this meeting both the country has agreed of sharing   intelligence input in order to combats crime related issued   at the border. The BSF also take up the issue of fencing of one hundred and fifty yards from the zero point both has agreed to have confidence building measure.

The IG BSF has asked the BGB to take strong action against thus militant camps that still exist in the Bangladesh soil. The Bangladesh should take effective measure to stop migration from Bangladesh to India.

From the Bangladesh side has asked the Indian Counterpart to stop arresting and kidnapping to the Bangladeshi national by the Indian. They also asked the Indian authority to stop smuggling of all types of drugs to Bangladesh.

Both the Border Guarding Force agreed to look into each other’s prospective on the border problems with an open mind. In the Meeting both side has agreed to share the intelligence input to curb trans-border crimes. (SP News)
