Shillong, December 26: The Committee on Public Undertakings under the chairmanship of Mr Sayeedullah Nongrum has recently submitted their finding on the Crowborough Hotel at Khyndailad and at the samle time the committee has made some recommendation.
The Committee has fix August 2013 as the death line for the M/s Lessly Shylla to complete the work and if they cannot complete within the time frame the Meghalaya Tourism Development Corporation has to take suitable action as per terms and Condition.
The lease agreement that was sign between the MTDC and the M/s Lessly Shylla was done on the 28th May 2008, from the MTDC the withness by Victor B Lyne and from the M/s Lessly Shylla withness by Mr Vincent H Pala.
When the MTDC call for the bit there are four groups who bided for the project, M/s Lessly Shylla, H M Cement, Centre Point Groups Enterprise and City View Hotels and among them the M/s Lessly Shylla give the highest offer, that they will pay to the MTDC in 33 years a sum of Rs 98.98 cores.(SP News)
