Shillong, April 07: The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District who is the chairperson of the DDMA of East Khasi Hills District said that anyone found without mask is liable to be fined, mask should be worn at all time.
The Chairperson of the DDMA said that to contain the spread of COVID-19 , all vendors, shopkeepers and member of the general public must take necessary precautionary measure.
The DDMA has instructed all public that mask should be worn at all time and any one without a mask is liable to be fine, all must maintain social distance at all time on crowded places people are requested to wash their hand regularly.
Numbers of the costumers inside the shop should kept at the minimum, numbers of positive cases has gone up across the country in the last couple of weeks and some state has gone to lockdown.
In order to prevent the increase in the number of cases in Shillong and the state as a whole, all citizens and requested to adhere to all the required protocols.
