Govt appoint Smti. Bharati B Sangma, as member of the MSC for Women

Shillong, February 27: The Government of Meghalaya has nominated Smti. Bharati B Sangma, Assistant Lecturer, Lady Keane College as member of the Meghalaya State Commission for Women, under Rule 5 of the Meghalaya State Commission for Women Act, 2005 in place of Smti. Charlotte W Momin with immediate effect till the expiry of the term of the present Meghalaya State Commission for Women. Other members of the Commission will remain as notified earlier. This was informed by the Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Social Welfare Department.
