Shillong, Jan 16: Meghalaya Chief Minister Mr. Conrad K Sangma gave financial assistant Rs. 1.45 cores to the Chairman of the Council of Nokmas Mr. Skylance G Momin for the construction of the Nokma Kachari in various A’Kings in Garo Hills Region.
Speaking at the gathering at the 16th Annual Conference of the Council o9f Nokmas at Dadenggre on Saturday, the Chief Minister Mr. Conrad acknowledge that Nokma play very important in the overall functioning of the Garo tribal’s Society in carrying out key developmental initiative.
