Shillong, June 18: Meghalaya Governor Mr. Satya Pal Malik today convey his condolence message on the loss of lives due to heavy rain, on this natural calamities he also taken up with the Chief Minister who is closely monitoring the situation and he has assured me that necessary action is being taken.
“I’m deeply pained by the loss of precious lives due to incessant and extremely heavy rainfall which has disrupted life in the entire state. The Government is proactively taking all the necessary remedial and relief measures to address the situation”.
“I urge everyone to be careful while venturing out. I have discussed the current situation with the Chief Minister who is closely monitoring the situation and he has assured me that necessary action is being taken, My deepest condolences to the affected families who have lost their near and dear ones”.
